## TL;DR

This paper demonstrates that the orthogonality criterion rules out the existence of hydrino states as valid solutions in standard quantum mechanics equations like Schrödinger, Klein-Gordon, and Dirac.

## Contribution

It introduces a simple, general orthogonality criterion to exclude hydrino states from standard quantum mechanical solutions.

## Key findings

- Hydrino states do not satisfy the orthogonality condition.
- Standard quantum equations do not support hydrino solutions.
- The orthogonality criterion effectively bans hydrino states.

## Abstract

Orthogonality criterion is used to shown in a very simple and general way that anomalous bound-state solutions for the Coulomb potential (hydrino states) do not exist as bona fide solutions of the Schr\"{o}dinger, Klein-Gordon and Dirac equations.
