## TL;DR

This paper investigates a new formulation of overlap fermions at finite density, demonstrating that it accurately reproduces the continuum energy density behavior as a function of chemical potential and temperature.

## Contribution

The study introduces and validates a formulation of overlap fermions at finite density that correctly captures continuum physics.

## Key findings

- Overlap fermions with chemical potential reproduce correct continuum energy density.
- The formulation accurately models energy density as a function of chemical potential and temperature.
- Validation confirms the approach's effectiveness at finite density.

## Abstract

We study a recently proposed formulation of overlap fermions at finite density. In particular we compute the energy density as a function of the chemical potential and the temperature. It is shown that overlap fermions with chemical potential reproduce the correct continuum behavior.
